GDP-the Most Trusted Name in Portals
Off-road enthusiasts turn to SuperATV for their portal needs over any other company, and there's a good reason for that. We know what we're doing. Our industry-leading technology and knowledgeable team of experts work hard to bring you portals that are more trusted and trail proven than anything else on the market. If you want a portal gear lift that is built for battle, you need SuperATV.
Perfect for Mud
Thick, sloppy mud and GDP portals are a match made in heaven. With bigger tires and a boost in torque, you'll easily chew through that thick mud that used to slow you down. And thanks to that extra six inches of ground clearance, you're less likely to get swamped or hung up. With a GDP portal gear lift installed on your 1000R, you'll never look at mud the same way again.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Portal gear lifts put the gear reduction directly in the hub, so you don't have to worry about any unnecessary stress being placed on your drivetrain. Because of this, your differential, prop shaft, axles, and transmission can do their job without acquiring any early wear and tear. This lets you do more and ride harder without worrying about your machine's most vital parts.

Unmatched Gear Material
We understand that a portal gear lift is only as strong as the gears inside, which is why we made ours as smart and strong as possible. Our premium gears are made out of a strong 9310 alloy steel. We precision grind them to ensure that they mate perfectly every time, which gives you smooth and quiet performance ride after ride.
Stronger Housings by Design
Cutting corners isn't in our nature-especially when it comes to our portal housings. We've put in years of research to ensure that you're getting the strongest housings possible. And to take it a step further, we're giving you options, too. You get to pick between cast or USA-made, CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum. No matter which direction you go, you're getting housings that are second to none.
Our housings are reinforced in all the right places
They're built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind
There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good-we know because we tested them
The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can Get
The backing plates on our GDP portals are made out of an advanced steel alloy that's specialized for ultra-high force applications. In other words, it's more than tough enough to put up with your kind of trail abuse. They're 5/16" thick and even stronger than chromoly, so you're guaranteed backing plates that just won't quit.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
Advanced Thermo-Tork® gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
Bearings That Rock
We're all about delivering worry-free riding, which is why every piece of these portals is designed with durability in mind, right down to the bearings. We use roller bearings to hold our idler gear in place because we understand the importance of super-strong parts. And our output bearing is a double-angular contact bearing, meaning it can handle heavy forces in all directions without showing wear. No matter how you look at it, these bearings are made to last.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
Each set of GDP portals comes with precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors that are designed to stay cool and deliver the braking power you need, when you need it. We also incorporated universal hubs that have 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs. This feature allows you to run nearly any side-by-side wheel with ease. We also invented the tapered output shaft that attaches to our hubs. It gives you a more secure lock that keeps your hubs from wobbling over time.
Bolster Your UTV with a Frame Stiffener
The Honda Talon 1000R doesn't like to take it slow and neither do you. If you load it up with 6" GDP Portals and some monster tires, you can bend your frame. That's why we highly recommend a frame stiffener. It bolsters your frame, so you can ride however you want.
